Gateway team updated news that there will be a new firmware coming out soon which can support 3DS 10.7 and A9hax. The gateway team are begining to test panel to more Alpha testers on various consoles types, regions and firmware. Gateway team inform us of not using any gateway fimrware until they confirm their test and release the official update.

New 3ds us version games will come out in April

Langrisser - Re:Incarnation Tensei


Our hero, Ares, suddenly finds his town under imperial siege. While retreating into a nearby church, he chances on the holy sword Langrisser (what a coincidence). He repels the invasion and meets with the forces of light. From there, he gets embroiled in a war between the forces of light, darkness and the imperials. Depending on the choices of the player, the story will diverge towards one of three possible routes.

Nintendo NX technology revealled, Infrared and Gesture Recognition

We all know that Nintendo  new console-NX is being preparation and some patent technology has been revealled by media.

The media disclosed some Nintendo's handheld patented technology applied previously, which contains more than 22 patents. The majority of patents are about infrared and gesture recognition technology. It can recognize the palm of action, ranging capture hand image to feedback into the game through  infrared sensor with the camera.  Seen from the patent pictures, this technology allows the machine to identify the palm without holding additional equipment which can applied to sports or RPG game.


The infrared and gesture recognition technology is similar with Intel RealSense 3D which has been applied to notebook. The Intel RealSense 3D  can identify gestures and scenes through infrared sensors, color sensors and cameras, which means users can control the games through gestures. But it needs some time to feedback the information into games from recognize images with cameras, which result a delay during playing games and poor experience.

How to trim 3ds roms over 4GB for sky3ds+?

Sky3ds+ supports FAT32 format of microSD card, while the biggest storage of one file in FAT32 is 4GB. But there are many famous 3ds games such as Monster Hunter X are over 4GB. If you just put the original 3ds roms to your microSD card, sky3ds+ will not read it.

Step 1: Download the homebrew starter kit and extract it. Copy all the files in the folder to the root directory of your microSD Card inside 3DS.

Step 6: Run the Region free launcher and it will show Cubic Ninja. Press sky3ds+ orange button to switch game. Remove sky3ds+ flashcard completely from 3DS and then insert it again. The icon of out-of -region 3ds game shows and now you can enjoy it.
